Here's how it works:

Customers purchase water volume at charging station with help of IC card and upload water volume by swiping his IC card at the induction area of installed water meter inside or outside home to activate valve of water meter, which will open automatically to start water supply.
Features:
- During the period of water supply, the built-in micro-computer of water meter will automatically check and subtract the used water volume.
- Water meter has twice alarm function, when the purchased water volume reaches to alarm volume, water meter will close valve and stop water supply.
- Customer can resume water supply by swiping his IC card on water meter. When the reserve also is used up, water meter will stop water supply completely and the customer needs to charge his IC card again.

Installation
Installation
- The installation of water meter should be installed as per standard installation practice.
- The caliber of water meter shall correspond with calibration of pipes and the used flow rate is less than or close to the common flow rate. The installation place should avoid exposure, flooding, freezing and pollution, and convenient for installing, removing and data reading.
- The water meter should be installed according to the appointed way(horizontal or vertical).
- The sands and stones and other sundries in the pipelines shall be cleared
- The arrow on the water meter should be the same as the flow of water in the pipeline.
- If the water meter is installed on the inlet of the boiler, it is better to install inverted valve on the outlet of water to prevent that the return current of hot water and steam to avoid damage of water meter.

- Install software and card reader at the central office or required charging station.
- Operate software to input relevant management info at the software, and input user info to create an account for each user via a user card.
- After opening an account, the user could take his IC Card to load credit at the charging station.
- After load credit, then user shall swipe his IC Card at water meter to activate the meter valve for starting water supply.
